At the start of the week it was sunny, I went jogging for the first time down the beach on Monday and Tuesday.
I was also eating healthy again.
The second half of the week was miserable.
And so I got sad and ate icecream.
The weather has a lot to answer for! But both fruit and ice cream are delicious.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that first photo! I've experienced a bit of your climate, and I much prefer mine-- well over 300 days of bright sunshine per year, which makes us rather strange. On the rare, grey and rainy day, you can hear us say, "Isn't it a beautiful day?"
ReplyDeleteOhh I am jealous, where do you live? However I do have a love for the rain and winter as well..
DeleteI live in the Sonoran Desert-- Phoenix, Arizona.
DeleteThese are terrific pics. The first one is so serene and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAnd I always say.... "All sadness ends in a bit of ice cream!"
Cheers.

Oh, you're like me. The weather has such an influence---even on my diet. Gorgeous photos, especially the rain...and of course, the Ben & Jerry's ice cream. :D
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous story with your photos! It's raining a lot in Australia right now, such a pity I don't have any icecream....
ReplyDeleteLove it! I would eat ice cream with the fruit.
ReplyDeleteHaha Ben and Jerry always make for good company on a rainy afternoon :)
ReplyDeleteIce cream solves all kinds of feelings...my go-to thing for comfort.
ReplyDeleteThe healthy snack looks good, too.
And jogging on the beach? Wonderful!
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
Those are gorgeous photos! I love the first one and the fruit! They look so delicious. So does the ice cream - NY Super Fudge Chunk and Chocolate Fudge Brownie are my favourite flavours.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures -- I love the way you used them to tell a story. Sorry the weather turned so bad :-(
ReplyDeleteLovely beach, and icecream is good wether I'm happy or sad. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat healthy food!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Ahhh ice cream! A delicious alternative to the cup of tea. Where is that beautiful beach?
ReplyDeleteFruit and ice-cream is always good, whatever the weather, whatever your mood. It's obviously been nicer in your part of the country - I don't remember any sunshine here in the landlocked Midlands... perhaps I should move to the seaside! My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/vTUc8
ReplyDeleteChocolate fudge brownie is my favourite Ben and Jerry's flavour,
ReplyDeleteand I live in Cornwall this beach is Sandy Acres it runs all the way from St Ives to Portreath, absolutely beautiful and it's five minutes walk from where I live.
Some days just need ice cream. Though I'm lucky that summer fruit makes me happy too!
ReplyDeleteLOL, this describes my week to a tee. started out well, ended with pizza and ice cream
ReplyDeleteI lover that first picture--beautiful beach shot. And we'd gladly take the rain off your hands here in Indiana--we're 7 inches behind what we ought to have. Maybe dry weather is an excuse for Ben & Jerry's too.... :-)
ReplyDeleteHere's my Snapshot.
That makes complete sense to me! :) How fun!
