Saturday snapshot: August 11th

Wow - Summer is really flying now! (specially since I'm working all the time)

I spend Monday through to Thursday running/working out in the morning then working at night and then on Friday I spend my day off with my friends playing badminton and swimming.

I actually don't have any new pictures from this week! So here's a few of my old photography snaps for you to look at. 


This shot is from a couple months ago now, I was just playing really, I think it portrays my love for healthy eating - which I am doing so well at now! 


And this is what my TBR pile looked like this time last year.. some of those are still in my TBR.. however there is no such thing as a 'pile' anymore.. more so stacks of them everywhere! 



And this is one of my favourite shots from my AS photography exam earlier in the year.. which I am getting my results for my first year of A-levels (half way there!) on Thursday.. so you'll be seeing a picture of those next week!

Today I am working both jobs.. from 8:30-2:30 and then the other one from 6-10 (or later if it's busy)... so lets hope I can survive it!

    Your TBR pile description made me chuckle. My pile has also grown from one pile to several stacks littered around my office and bedroom.

    Nice pictures -- welcome to the ranks of Mt. TBR! :-D The only way mine has managed to get physically smaller while still adding on books to read is because I have an e-reader, LOL.

    Your TBR pile doesn't look too bad...mine, at one point, was several stacks in a corner of the bedroom and on top of a book case; now it has diminished to a few small stacks on my office coffee table. (And some on top of a bookcase...lol).

    My DH objects to "piles" of books around the house, so mine is a TBR shelf. In our headboad of our bed and all along the top. I should post that next week!! LOL

    I wish I was disciplined enough to eat healthier. Oddly enough I love vegetables, but am not too fond of fruits. So when I get a sweet craving it's not satisfied by fruit, but usually very unhealthy desserts. :) I completely understand about the book stacks. I really need to organize mine.

    That do be read pile would be the same size as mine if they were all in the same pile. You sound like me. And there are others I would also like to read.

    I don't have a TBR pile... I have TBR shelves!
    Just NEVER enough time to read all of the terrific stuff I have on deck!
    And I just keep buying the things!

    The photo of the orange is my favorite! I really like the lighting. I know all about those TBR stacks. Books are just too hard to resist!

    Good luck with the hectic week... and getting the tbr pile down to size. Mine is hopeless. I have to stop going to library sales and adding to it but they are so hard to resist.
