1) Lauren Oliver - I love her work so much (Before I fall and Delirium) because the books are so real- have real life lessons to learn in them and she sounds so lovely from the blogs she writes!
2) Lauren Kate - I love love love her Fallen series and also Lauren Kate wrote the books that influenced me to write my own! Thank you!
3) Maggie Steifvater - The shiver series is one of my
favourite series and plus Maggie is also an artist and I love both
writing fiction and art too! She sounds awesome!
What's the ONE GENRE you wish you could read but just can't get into?
Ummm... science fiction thriller stuff, I don't know why, but I do find that interesting but I know it would take me so much effort to try and get hooked into a book! If you've read any and have any suggestions would love them, thanks!
Where do you keep your books at home? Are they organized?
Yea actually kind of, they are on a shelf on the wall and on a small bookcase underneath but now they are overflowing so I wouldn't say organized. But I do put series in order and put books by the same author together (OCD alert). See a couple of posts down to see pictures of my overflowing bookcase + organized shelf.

I know what you mean about not liking the Sci-Fi Thriller stuff...I just tried out Michael Koryta's The Cypress House, and it wasn't for me at all.

ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Omg you are so lucky, I live in the UK, so rather hard for me to meet authors!
ReplyDeleteLauren Oliver would be awesome to chat with! I'd love to talk to her about her ideas behind Before I Fall.

Totally agree with science fiction. I have the hardest time even picking up a book like that. I'm a new follower. My answers are up at Coffee Table Reviews.
ReplyDeleteLauren Kate would be a fun author to meet. :-) Thanks for hopping by the blog!
ReplyDeleteAll my bookshelves are overflowing, so my books aren't very organized either. I either need more bookshelves or fewer books - I chose the former :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found you via the Hop!
Lauren Kate is a great author! I just bought Shiver, Linger and ....I'm at a loss for the other book. Anyway, can't wait to read them.
ReplyDeleteNew follower found thru hops. Returning the favor. Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Shiver series as well. I remember when Shiver first came out. I actually got an ARC of Linger (my first ARC). I totally agree with the whole science fiction thing. Not something I can get into.
~Happy Reading!~
