Musing Mondays

This weeks question:

What is the last book you struggled to read through to the end, even though you weren’t really enjoying it? What made you keep reading?

Well, I don't think I have ever read through a book which I struggled with to the end. Though there has not been many books which I didn't like. Every book that I have read through (willingly- not with school or anything like that) I have loved so much. There have been a couple I just could not get into though. I managed to read half of P.S. I love you- and it's a great book and I will get around to reading all of it someday I just think I was busy at the time. What will make me read the whole book sometime is that the movie sounds amazing- haha! I have read the first sentence of Withering Heights and gave up because my vocabulary doesn't reach those extremes yet. What makes me want to read this book is that I have never read anything 'Legendary' or classics if that's what you call them and everyone seems to talk about this book and so I want to read a classic! I read a little bit of the first book of Vampire Diaries and although I love to watch the TV show now and then, I could not get into the book- but will attempt to soon since I love every other book my L.J.Smith.

My first Musing Monday!

  2. Welcome to MM!!
Maybe I am too picky, since I seem to find a number of books I don't like. But as I explain on my post, it is the review copies that are my real issue.

  3. Thanks for the welcomes!
I would probably have an issue with them too, but I haven't reviewed books for anyone before. I just read what I want so most of the time I love the book.

  4. Yeah, I feel the exact same way. There's books that I have to get through, regardless of how much I like them or not. I just feel like I need to know the ending of them, regardless.

Hi, I'm now following you, too :)
