Read-A-Thon round up.

Hello,

So it's 2 hours until the dead line and I didn't start until 13 hours after the start of mine (UK times) but sorry to say I am stopping here. It has been so much fun, but stressful also as I tend to take things seriously- haha!
I beat my challenge of 4 books!
woo-hooo!
I am 50 pages into my 5th but I'm very tired, there's a movie on TV and tomorrow night/ Friday morning at 2am I leave for a 24 hour day trip to Alton Towers with my school mates- a last laugh since I left school after exams three weeks ago.
I might find time to write all four reviews tomorrow if I am not catching up sleep for my trip, If not they will go up on the weekends along with the review for Starcrossed I read the weekend before the read-a-thon started and the review for the book I'm currently reading which I may read on the coach trip or tomorrow/the weekend.
But anyway these are the books I read on the read-a-thon.
Fallen Grace - Mary Hooper
My Love Lies Bleeding - Alyxandra Harvey
Evercrossed - Elizabeth Chandler
The Lady in the Tower - Marie-Louise Jensen
& 50 pages from Out for Blood - Alyxandra Harvey

I did not count the pages, but most of them were just below 300 pages or just above and I also didn't time myself knowing it would agitate me more in trying to hurry when I haven't been feeling my best, damn my headaches. But my average time per average sized books ranges from 5-9 hours. May be slow to some of you but a customer in the shop I work in for my parents said to me today 'It usually takes me 4-5 months to read a book like that it seems you get through one every 2 days' I smiled not correcting her to say I'd read 4 in the past 2 days aha.

I have taken part in all 6 mini-challenges all fun! The cover one I loved and hated- because they were American covers to me it was near impossible. But still fun!

I have enjoyed my first read-a-thon!

I will sure take part in any others to come and try and beat my numbers!

Please do let me know what you read and suggest books I love new books to find!

Well done everyone!

  1. I think you did a great job! I only finished one so far and am desperately trying to finish my second before the end of the night, but I don't know if it will happen. Oh well, it was fun partcipating anyway!

  2. Thank you! Well I'm sure you had school or work or something, but I'm not at school because I've just finished exams and left and have had a lot of time on my hands!
Well good luck in finishing that!
