Out For Blood.

Out For Blood - Alyxandra Harvey

Hunter Wild just wants to get through her last year at the secret Helios-Ra Academy. To do so, she'll have to betray her grandfather, date a vampire and possibly take down the entire League - all before the end of term.

*SPOILERS IN MOST OF THIS REVIEW*

I love this book even more than the Logan and Isabeau one. It's my favourite of the series so far.
Out For Blood is told by Hunter Wild a last year Helious Ra student from a respected vampire hunter family. Her parents were killed by vampires when she was young and she was raised by her strict vampire hunter grandfather. Hunter has always been a top student, but it's the start of her final year and things are seriously wrong on campus. Kieran, who is now with Solange and is part of the Vampire Hunters who have formed and alliance with the Drake Family, has been friends with Hunter for most her life.
Kieran takes Hunter to the ceremony where the Drake mother is being crowned Queen of the vampires (because she killed the other one) and there she see's Quinn one of the gorgeous Drake sons.
The story is also told by Quinn, where we learn he is not the player he makes himself out to be.
During finding out what the tablets are that was poisoning the students and killing the vampires, they are brought together. Against all the odds with Hunter Wild being a Helious Ra and Quinn being a Drake they fall in love. Together they struggle to get to bottom of the problems that are circling.
Hunters best friend is acting weird, she's been taking the tablets. Hunter will do anything to get to the bottom of it and when Will one of the students from the year below is bitten in the attack on the academy and makes a vampire pop into ashes and turns into a Hel Bar Hunter has to stake him to save her best friend. Now she knows she has to find out what is going on, for the sake of her best friend and all of the other students.
I love how fast paced this book is, just like the others in the series. It is jam packed with danger and romance. I also love the characters, including Hunters friends who can be pretty funny at times, after all they are just students at a school even if it is vampire school.
Like I said this is my favourite of the series, it's just amazing how even though there is so much going on Quinn and Hunter manage to fall in love. To her grandfathers sheer shock and disapproval.

This book gets a huge 5/5 from me!
Go Alyxandra! Can't wait for the next one.
